(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 24 - Italian seas which are particularly clear after the lockdown and an overall stable situation due to the substances linked to the production activities. This is the first picture that emerges from the extraordinary monitoring carried out by the National Environmental Protection Agency (Snpa) and by the General Command of the Port Authority Corps. Analysis conducted on 457 sampling stations. "Our commitment now is to ensure that these quality standards are maintained," said environment minister Sergio Costa. In several regions, transparency has resulted in values higher than the mid-seasonal ones. In some parts of the Ligurian west, the visibility of the water column reaches up to 15 meters deep, compared to 10 in the previous seasons. (HANDLE).
