The assembly of the Serie B League, meeting by videoconference in the presence of all the clubs, has established the start and end dates of the next competitive season, setting the starting whistle for next September 26th and ending on Friday May 7th in in order to allow the post season to take place respecting the start of the European Championships. The other criteria established by the Shareholders' Meeting - informs a note - are for stopping in the national period with an obvious and consequent increase in midweek tenders, the dates of which will be communicated later.
Also unanimously, the Assembly decided to play the playoff and playout matches of the current sports season, 2019/2020, all at 9 pm following the dates already identified. As regards the Var, it was pointed out that the crisis situation determined by Covid-19 and the consequent logistical problems in the recovery of the season have made it impossible to carry out, in these months, the refereeing training through friendly matches and off-match matches. line, and it has therefore been established that the formation of the refereeing class will continue in the next season, without prejudice to the use of the technological tool in the 2019/20 playoff and playout matches.
The Assembly then highlighted the problems resulting from the non-payment of some companies of the promotion contribution, which is causing serious economic damage to League B companies, and asked the Federation to take an active part so that the respect of the rules is honored. As for Spring 2, the Serie B League will bring to the table of the Federal Council on 4 August the request for closure of the current season and the maintenance of what has already been established by the regulation regarding the three promotions and the three relegations from Spring 1. In conclusion of the meeting, President Balata welcomed the new teams that will participate in the next Serie BKT 2020/2021 championship.
