This is certified by the calculations released today by the medical-scientific consultants of Boris Johnson's executive: currently estimating an average level between 0.9 and 1 in the country (against 1-1.1 in the last few weeks), against the background of the lockdown bis imposed by the Tory government in all of England from 4th November to 2nd December.
During the peak of spring the Rt index reached level 3 in the United Kingdom. Infections, consultants warn, however, remain higher than average in various counties in the north of England, as well as in Wales and Northern Ireland.
