Danilo Iervolino, president of the Pegaso telematic University and of the Universitas Mercatorum, asks not to waste the opportunity of European funds for the restart, using resources to reduce the gaps in the country's digital infrastructures and democratize access to the web.
The group, which has been betting on e-learning for years, exploits the potential of the web and social media for shared and participatory distance learning, but there is a need for a modern and widespread digital infrastructure.

Not everyone can afford the latest generation of mobile phones, so much so that they are denied the great opportunity of the web. The government - concludes Iervolino - must make it a priority agenda the goal of reducing asymmetries and digital divide ".
