In Frankfurt am Main, a dispute between a pedestrian and two drivers has escalated - with life-threatening consequences for passers-by.
The two 20 and 21 year old drivers rolled over the pedestrian in the Frankfurt train station district with their SUVs.
The police said that the two men are now being investigated for an attempted homicide.
The 52-year-old passerby got into an argument with the two men early on Saturday morning.
In the course of the argument, the pedestrian took out his smartphone and began filming her on his cell phone.
One of the two drivers hit the pedestrian - he fell.
When the two young men from Bavaria then ran their vehicles, they ran over the 52-year-old lying on the ground.
The police launched a search that the 20-year-old was arrested shortly afterwards.
The other driver turned himself in to the Offenbach police shortly afterwards.
Now the homicide commission is investigating the two young men coming from the Augsburg district.
