The governor of the province of Buenos Aires,

Axel Kicillof

, confirmed that face-to-face classes are returning to the Province of Buenos Aires and gave details this Friday about how the return to classrooms will be after the strictest confinement measures to lower the cases of coronavirus.

At a press conference, Kicillof gave details of the purchase of vaccines and ratified the continuity of the measures in force in the last presidential DNU, which implies the continuity of the epidemiological traffic light parameter.

"The approval of the Cansino vaccine is imminent,"

announced Kicillof, about the 5 million doses that the Province bought.

"It is a single dose vaccine and has an efficacy of 68% in preventing infections and 95.5% in preventing serious illness, we are very happy," he added.

Kicillof's message comes shortly after the president announced the continuity of the DNU in force until Friday, June 25.

The new DNU -which will take effect this midnight- will last for the next two weeks, while the national government waits for the Chamber of Deputies to debate the "Covid Emergency" law.

The project that the Government seeks to approve establishes a regulatory framework on epidemiological and health parameters to mitigate the impact of the second wave of coronavirus.
