The training course organized by the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students concluded this evening with the participation of seventy male and female students from various public and private universities with the aim of forming a national team specialized in facilitating and managing dialogue sessions in the Martyr Basil Al-Assad University City “Barzeh Gathering”.

On its last day, the course focused on providing the trainees with the skills of social survey, its types, tools and uses in all fields, and its role in analyzing, interpreting and reporting the existing situation and the studied phenomenon, and collecting data in order to classify, interpret and circulate it for future use at all levels.

The trainer, Nihad Tahmaz, indicated in a statement to SANA that the themes and titles that were addressed in the three-day course covered the needs and requirements of the participating youth to be good facilitators of the main dialogue sessions that the National Union of Syrian Students will hold during the coming period in all governorates, indicating the importance of the social survey axis in identifying The environment in which the dialogues will be conducted, the targeted age groups, and the prevailing economic situation in it, in order to measure the extent of the ability to influence and address the existing phenomenon

Among the participating students, student Doaa Darwish from Tishreen University, “Mechanical Design and Production Engineering,” said that acquiring keys and tools for communicating with the other is very important to gain confidence in dialogue, especially with different points of view. Marwa Turkmani, a graduate of communications and electronics engineering, said that she participated in the course to benefit from Including in the field of voluntary work and to be active in the union.

From Al-Baath University, student Abdul Rahim Al-Hardan from the Faculty of Informatics Engineering saw that the training content of the course is very important, especially related to body language skills such as pronunciation, tone of voice and intellectual skills.

From the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Hama, Muhammad Abdul Karim Toumani pointed to the need to promote and spread the culture of dialogue in our society, while Mahmoud Baroudi from the Faculty of Informatics Engineering at the Arab Private University saw that dialogue is an important and essential factor in the reconstruction phase of Syria.

Yassin Mihoub, a master's student at the Faculty of Law at Damascus University, considered that dialogue will contribute to solving many social problems in Syria and laying out strategic plans to address them, while student Alaa Sarem from the Faculty of Technical Engineering at Tartous University pointed out the need to benefit from the energies of young people and enable them to be active in this field.
