On stage, actress Uschi Glas clashed with her colleague Robert Atzorn during the rehearsal for a play.

When a corona test was necessary due to greater personal proximity, the colleague said: "I'm not going to be tested!" Glas reported in a joint video cast with the head of the Essen University Hospital, Jochen A. Werner.

At first she thought of having fun, Glas said, but it was serious: "It became so abusive towards the director and me," she says.

He had "screamed and so changed in his personality.

I couldn't believe that this is the colleague I think is good - that I think, «says Glas.

The actress refused to continue rehearsing as long as Atzorn was not tested, according to the Bild newspaper about the incident.

In the meantime, she would "not even do half a day of shooting with him," says Glas in the videocast.

In response to multiple requests from moderator Jens de Buhr, Glas then also gave the name of his colleague: Robert Atzorn.

As »Bild« reported, Atzorn and Glas rehearsed the two-person play »Love Letters« together in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in March. The theater's director at the time, Thomas Pekny, confirmed the incident to “Bild” and revealed that Atzorn did not want to be vaccinated either, “because he was not sure about possible side effects”. He probably didn't feel like getting tested. According to Pekny, he does not know whether Atzorn had taken a test at home before the rehearsals began.

Uschi Glas was available to the Federal Ministry of Health at the beginning of the vaccination campaign as a testimonial for a commercial.

The 77-year-old actress had previously reported on hate mail that she received because of her engagement.

After that, she received "a lot of encouragement," she said in the video, from nurses and doctors, among others.

"That was crazy," said Glas.

Robert Atzorn, 76, became known as the leading actor in series such as "Our Teacher Doctor Specht" or "Oh God, Herr Pfarrer", as Commissioner Jan Casstorff he investigated "Tatort" in Hamburg, most recently he played in "Nord Nord Mord".

In 2017 Atzorn announced his departure from the screen.

In 2020 he published his autobiography "Showering and Brushing Your Teeth - What Really Matters in Life".

SPIEGEL directed inquiries to Atzorn through both the book publisher and the agency that organizes readings, but Atzorn did not want to comment on the incident.

In September 2021, Robert Atzorn and his wife Angelika, who had worked on the book, gave a reading in Homburg / Saar.

At that time, the 3G rule applied to indoor events there.
