The scenario:

The delights of the nuns.

After the auditor of a religious order was poisoned in the foothills of the Alps, Batic (Miroslav Nemec) and Leitmayr (Udo Wachtveitl) take a look around the monastery for a few days and learn that there are intoxicating experiences beyond sex, hashish and beat music.

Whereby: There is also drinking in the convent, and the sisters get themselves going with their heartfelt liturgies.

The highlight:

Monastery vacation for the stressed inspector's soul.

It's actually nice how the investigators approach life in the religious community with herbal schnapps and choir songs.

In the end, however, the excursion is far too shallow.

The picture:

The bleeding Jesus on the cross, in front of it a nun who whips herself with a leather whip.

Batic is haunted by this vision after drinking a dubious tea with herbs from the monastery garden.

A catholic feverish dream broke into the Lord-Gives-Lord-Takes idyll.

The dialogue:

Inspector Leitmayr walks with a nun through the monastery garden, which is dressed in blossoms.

Leitmayr: "Ah, it's nice here, but ..."

Nun: "Still you wonder whether we don't miss the life outside."

Leitmayr: »Yeah!

You are giving up a lot. "

Nun: "For sex, drugs and rock'n'roll?"

Leitmayr: "Jahahaaa!"

Nun: "You think there's nothing more in life?"

Leitmayr: »Yes, of course there are more.

But there is also that. "

Nun: "Do you believe in God?"

Leitmayr: »Nope.

She?"

The music:

"Regem cui omnia vivunt".

Right at the beginning, the nuns begin this office of the dead.

Prelude to a score in which the composer Richard Ruzicka incorporates bells, litanies and self-flagellation whip-cracks.

The review:

5 out of 10 points.

Yes, that's fine with the sisters: This Bible-and-handicraft weekend with Batic and Leitmayr could have used a little more furore.

Following the »crime scene«, the pace is increased drastically in the first: in the series »Legal Affairs«, which then starts, Lavinia Wilson curses and tricks her way through the capital as a star lawyer.

The ARD in a rollercoaster of emotions.
