Elon Musk and Grimes (archive image): "We are best friends"

X Æ A-Xii, X for short: After the birth of the first son together of high-tech pioneer Elon Musk and singer Grimes, the boy's name in particular caused a stir.
Now, according to a media report, the two have become parents again – and have once again opted for an unusual name.
Her daughter's name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, or Y for short, Grimes told celebrity magazine Vanity Fair.
The baby was carried by a surrogate mother and was born in December.
The couple had previously kept the birth a secret.
"Is there another baby in your life, Grimes?"
The new offspring became known when a "Vanity Fair" reporter visited Grimes for an interview.
He briefly heard what sounded like a child crying upstairs, writes journalist Devin Gordon — even though Grimes had told him their son with Musk was not in the house but with his father.
At first he said nothing and continued the interview, Gordon continues.
But then the crying became unmistakable and he finally asked the "strangest question" of his career: "Is there another baby in your life, Grimes?" The initially uncomfortable situation then relaxed and both laughed.
The baby suffers a little from colic, said the 33-year-old.
More children planned
The couple's first child together was born in May 2020.
Musk also has five children with ex-wife Justine Wilson.
The relationship status of Grimes and the multi-billionaire is apparently not very clear either.
"There's no real word for it," said the singer.
“I would probably call him my friend, but we're very fluid.
We live in separate houses.
We are best friends.
We see each other all the time.” But she and Musk wanted more children together: “We always wanted at least three or four.”
