(ANSA) - NEW YORK, MARCH 15 - The 'homeless killer' in Washington and New York ended up in handcuffs.
The US capital police have in fact captured a man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, held responsible for several shootings in which two homeless people were killed while they slept.
The murderer in fact hit his victims in their sleep.
The first three incidents occurred in the northeastern Washington area between March 3 and 9.
In two cases, victims suffered gunshot wounds.
While in another case a tent used by the homeless caught fire and inside the body of a man who was shot and stabbed was found.
In New York, the attacks took place in Lower Manhattan, one near the Holland Tunnel, which connects the city to the state of New Jersey, the other, deadly, in Soho.
