Spring weather in Germany: More than 20 degrees – Sahara dust threatens from Friday

Little rain and lots of sun: the weather will be spring-like in the coming days - with more than 20 degrees.
However, Sahara dust could cloud the sky.
Kassel – A picnic by the lake, eating ice cream or simply enjoying the sun: many people in Germany dream of summer.
The weather is also expected to be very sunny in the coming days.
The temperatures could crack the 20 degree mark.
So sunglasses and sunscreen can be unpacked again.
Some also look forward to the change of month at the weekend.
On the first of May, traditional hikes are back in many places.
Appropriately sunny weather would lure one or the other into nature.

Weather in Germany: Sahara dust is announced
"The high Tim extends its feelers to us in Germany and provides plenty of sun," said meteorologist Dominik Jung from the weather service Q.met to wetter.net.
The spring-like weather will already start on Wednesday (04/27/2022) and should then increase again.
The expert expects Thursday (04/28/2022) to be the most beautiful day of the week.
Consumers can expect plenty of sunshine in the coming days.

On Friday (April 29th, 2022) meteorologists are again announcing Sahara dust for Germany.
"On Friday, Sahara dust will mix in again from the southwest," predicted Jung.
The dust could cloud the sky, especially in the west and south of the country.
"But that also means beautiful sunrises and sunsets," said the weather expert.
The Sahara dust is also recognizable for car drivers.
A reddish-brown layer of dust could then be found on car roofs and window panes.
The phenomenon occurs several times a year, most recently the Sahara dust caused a cloudy sky in Germany in early April 2022.
Weather in Germany: Lots of sun and hardly any rain
At the weekend, the weather is also expected to remain mostly sunny and dry.
However, according to Dominik Jung, individual showers and thunderstorms should be expected in the afternoon hours.
But that primarily affects the south of the Federal Republic.

Weather Forecast: Nights will be cold in the coming week
The weather is supposed to stay nice for the next week.
Meteorologist Dominik Jung assumes a mix of sun and clouds in the first week of May.
However, the nights could get cold again, "sometimes below 5 degrees," says Jung.
Air and ground frost are also possible.
The rain is still a long time coming in the north and north-east.
Overall, April had many hours of sunshine and was dry, with little rain.
"The month after March 2022 will also be too dry," explained weather expert Jung.
