The essential
The closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival is broadcast on France 2 and the online channel Brut at 8:30 p.m. this Saturday.
Who will receive the Palme d'Or?
After viewing the 21 films in competition, the jury retired in the greatest secrecy to make their choice.
The Parisian too.
The prize for best documentary, the Golden Eye, was awarded in the morning to “All that breathes” by Shaunak Sen, on the rescue of birds of prey in Delhi.

The jury of the 75th edition
The president of the jury, the French actor Vincent Lindon, will try not to trip over the carpet like his predecessor Spike Lee who, in 2021, inadvertently revealed the Palme d'Or at the start of the ceremony.
At his side, to draw the winners of this 75th edition, appear in particular the actress and director Rebecca Hall ("Vicky Cristina Barcelona"), the revelation of "Millenium" Noomi Rapace, the directors Asghar Farhadi (Grand Prize 2021 with "Un heroes”), Ladj Ly (“Les miserables”, jury prize 2019) and Joachim Trier (“Julie in 12 chapters”).

Who will succeed "Titanium"?
After the slap of "Titanium" in 2021, the games are open for the Palme d'Or awarded this Saturday evening, between a young director who questions masculinity ("Close"), a South Korean thriller or the film by the Dardenne brothers who could get a historic treble.
After viewing the 21 films in competition, the jury withdrew in the greatest secrecy, cut off from the rustling of the Croisette, to choose who will receive a Palme more chic than ever: encrusted with 100 diamonds for this 75th edition.
