ANSA signs a new agreement with the Latvian agency LETA

LETA and ANSA have signed an important collaboration agreement that provides for the availability and exchange of content to be used on their respective information platforms. In the presence of the ambassadors Monti and Āboltiņa (ANSA)


LETA and ANSA have signed an important collaboration agreement that provides for the availability and exchange of content to be used on their respective information platforms.

The agreement was signed

in virtual connection, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Latvia Alessandro Monti at the LETA headquarters and the Latvian Ambassador to Italy Solvita Āboltiņa at the ANSA headquarters.


    The subscribers of the two Agencies will therefore have access to a wider range of international information services: the agreement is divided into the possibility for the partners to use their respective information services for editorial use and to develop joint commercial offers to support the communication of institutions and companies of the respective countries.

, "the agreement signed today between the two historic Italian and Latvian news agencies first of all enriches the economic and cultural relations between our two countries. But in the current historical moment, the contribution of the media it is also of fundamental importance to overcome the stereotypes that still hinder the progress of European integration, as well as to counter the rampant disinformation that proliferates through the distorted use of social networks. said: "I express great pleasure and satisfaction for the work done by the two agencies which led to the concrete definition of a collaboration, which is now signed by their respective representatives. ANSA and LETA play an extremely important role in the information and communication landscape . Especially in the age of social media, cooperation represents a valid and effective tool to strengthen the commitment to fight disinformation. I am sure that the signing of this agreement will bring added value to the work of the respective diplomatic offices of our countries and will contribute the development and increase of commercial initiatives, for Latvian and Italian customers, in the context of communication projects ".

With this agreement we also achieve the goal of disseminating information on Latvia internationally. that this partnership represents only the first step towards a broader business-oriented cooperation between the two agencies.
