A visitor to a swimming pool in Pullach near Munich saved a toddler floating motionless in the pool from drowning.
The bather noticed the 21-month-old girl in the leisure pool and immediately took the child out of the pool.
"Then the lifeguards who rushed to the pool and the surrounding pool visitors immediately began life-saving measures," said the Munich fire brigade on Thursday.
It is thanks to this circumstance that the not even two-year-old regained consciousness.
The girl was taken to a clinic, where she is said to be on the mend.
The parents were given psychological care after Wednesday evening's incident.
