The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will debut on streaming this Friday, and the broadcast will continue at the rate of one new episode per week, for a total of 8. If the series takes place well in the universe created by Tolkien , it adapts the story of Middle-earth, focusing on the Second Age, namely the creation of the rings, the rise of Sauron and the last alliance between Elves and Men.
Lord of the Rings fans will thus be able to find Galadriel, Elrond, Gil Galad and Isildur and discover, or rediscover, the history of Middle-earth, long before Frodo destroys the ring.
The series, produced by Amazon, is available from September 2 on the Prime Video service: if you are not yet a subscriber, you have a chance to discover it for free.
