“Angela, Angela!

shout Emy and Emma, two cousins who came to test “BL!

NDT?

ST” with the family, while the first notes of the song “Bruxelles je t'aime” by the Belgian singer resound.

The team made up of two Parisian pre-teens are a hit with this innovative musical game, based on voice recognition.

The concept is simple: each participant is equipped with a smartphone.

As soon as the player recognizes the singer of the title broadcast, he can press the phone, pronounce the name of the artist and his answer is then recorded directly in the application.

And in this new generation blind test, no cheating possible: a digital and impartial referee decides between the answers to the nearest hundredth of a second.

“We are fans of blind tests, and when we saw what existed on the market, we realized that there were only blind tests with MCQs, where you had to note the answers... And for us, the blind test requires shouting, you have to yell... And that's why we developed our application", explains Mikaël Lavollé, co-founder of the game.

ST” installed at Trinquet, in the 16th arrondissement, this time it is a group of thirty-something friends who compete on hits from the 2000s. “It’s great, there are plenty of playlists, there are plenty songs to sing and guess!

“, rejoices Raquel, dentist, who is not on her first evening in these boxes dedicated to musical games.

In total, players can compete on 60 different playlists and no less than 6,000 titles, ranging from the most classic – Fan of the 1980s, Rock – to the most unexpected – such as the “Singers with glasses” playlist.

Élise and Léna, two colleagues who had come to decompress after work at the Trinquet, were intrigued by these three boxes and decided to play a game.

“It's very fun!

It's super intuitive and it captures the first to give the answer really well and that's cool compared to in-house blind tests… There's a trade-off!

“, explains Léna, lawyer.

Launched in March, the concept has since attracted 6,000 players and three new rooms have just opened in the 17th arrondissement, in the Môm restaurant.

It is necessary to count

from 11 to 16 euros per person, for groups of 6 to 12 players for a game of one hour.
