(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 14 SEPTEMBER - "I called a meeting of Copasir on Friday because I am convinced that in two days we will have more information" on the US intelligence report which refers to funding from Russia to parties from foreign countries.
This was stated by Copasir president Adolfo Urso amargine of a point with the Italian press in Washington.
Ilsenatore of Fratelli d'Italia reiterated that at the moment Italy is not among the countries involved "but things can always change".
This is why "we will investigate the matter with Franco Gabrielli in the coming days".
"We hope to have a quiet electoral campaign in Italy", underlined the senator of the Brothers of Italy.
"For this reason I will insist in my meetings here in the United States that the Italian government be informed as soon as possible" on the US intelligence report.
