That's it: Frank Plasberg said goodbye with a bouquet of flowers and in front of a touched audience.

"It's the right time," said Frank Plasberg in an interview with our newspaper about his farewell - and yesterday evening the time had come.
After a good hour of “normal” broadcast (it was about the football World Cup in Qatar), the 65-year-old said “goodbye” to the viewers.
Brigitte Büscher, who was at his side on the show from the start, made the transition.
After reading viewers' comments on the evening's theme, as usual, she quoted some comments on Plasberg's farewell.
From "Too bad" to "It's good!" There was everything that made the moderator smile.
Afterwards, his successor Louis Klamroth (he premieres on January 9) presented a loving look back at 22 years of Hart but fair.
How big the lump was that Frank Plasberg had in his throat – hard to say.
Due to a cold, his voice had always been absent throughout the entire show.
But he seemed touched when he thanked the "many people" who had remained loyal to Hart over the years.
From the spectators to the "great crew", his employees and colleagues.
Then the last switch to Caren Miosga in the ARD daily topics: "Thank you, Frank," she smiled and seemed touched.
And he commented: "It's a beautiful day for me." It really was the right time.
Hats off!
