(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 16 - Gina Lollobrigida has died.
She was a great protagonist of Italian cinema, she was born in Subiaco on 4 July 1927, she was therefore 95 years old.
Last September the actress, known to a generation as la Bersagliera, was discharged from the clinic after a fall at home which had caused her to fracture her femur for which she had been operated on.
Already four years ago, Lolloera ended up in hospital due to a domestic accident.
The femur accident occurred two weeks into the electoral round of 25 September in which Lollobrigida was a candidate in Latina for the single-member constituency of the Senate, and in other constituencies in the proportional multi-member constituency, for the 'sovereign and popular Italy' list.
