Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida has died at the age of 95.
This was reported by the Italian news agency Ansa on Monday.
Italian media report prominently.
Lollobrigida suddenly became famous as a vivacious sex symbol in the 1950s.
After retiring from the world of film, she worked as a photographer and sculptor.
