(ANSA) - MILAN, 07 APR - The 71-year-old worker who yesterday fell from a height of 14 meters while working on a roof in Senago (Milan) inside the Cifa company that produces industrial machinery.
The man was retired and worked regularly for an external company that was carrying out maintenance work on the roof: he fell from 14 meters and ended up in a two deep hole.
The agents of the local police of Senago, coordinated by the Milan prosecutor's office, are dealing with the investigations into the tragedy.
The worker seems to have been regularly harnessed as well as his contractual position was regular and the investigators are verifying how the fall was possible while he was on the roof with a colleague.
He had suffered very serious trauma to the head and legs and died despite attempts to save him in hospital.
