This was announced on the website of the Interior Ministry. In Sardinia, where voting takes place in the first round for 171 municipalities, the partial turnout at 12 noon is 17.17% (22.93% at the previous municipal elections).

The polling stations are open from 7 am for the run-offs in 41 municipalities, and for the first round of the municipal elections in Sicily and Sardinia
. The polls will remain open until 23 pm and will reopen on Monday, from 7 am to 15 pm. The total number of voters involved in the run-offs is 1,340,688. One of the two candidates will be voted in 7 capitals: Vicenza, Massa, Pisa, Siena, Terni, Ancona, Brindisi. Voting is also taking place in the first round in 128 Sicilian municipalities, including Trapani, Syracuse, Ragusa and Catania. The run-off is scheduled for Sunday 11 and Monday 12 June. Similar calendar in Sardinia, where voters will go to the polls for the first round of municipal elections in 39 centers.



In Vicenza the challenge is between Giacomo Possamai (center-left), who obtained 46.23% in the first round and Francesco Rucco (center-right), who stopped at 44.06%. In Massa, Francesco Persiani (35.28% in the first round) for the center-right and Enzo Ricci (30.05%), candidate of the center-left, face each other. Pisa is contested between Michele Conti (49.96%, center-right) and Paolo Martinelli (41.12%, supported by center-left and also Cinquestelle). In Siena the runoff will be between Nicoletta Fabio, supported by the center-right (30.51%) and Anna Ferretti, candidate of the center-left (28.75%). In Terni he is neck and neck between Orlando Masselli (center-right, 35.81%) and Stefano Bandecchi, supported by Alternativa Popolare (28.14%); the coalition with the Democratic Party and that of the 5 Star Movement remained out of the second round. In Ancona, Ida Simonella (41.28%) of the center-left and Daniele Silvetti (45.11%) of the center-right challenge each other. Finally, in Brindisi, the run-off will be between Roberto Fusco (32.73%) of the center-left and Giuseppe Marchionna (44.22%) of the center-right.

In Trentino Alto Adige the first round took place on 21 May in three municipalities: Campo Tures (Bz), Bresimo and Lona-Lases (Tn). None of the three will go to the runoff, which was scheduled for Sunday, June 4. In Campo Tures and Bresimo the mayor was elected in the first round, while in Lona-Lases the quorum of 50% necessary for the election of the candidate presented by a single list was not reached. We will therefore vote in a year's time.

In Valle d'Aosta voting took place in the first round on 21 May only in Valtournenche, where he has already been elected mayor. No runoff, then.

Finally, in Molise, on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 June, there will be a vote to elect the president of the Region.
