The Israeli satellite company is already using much less satellite technology and in recent months it is carrying out a digital revolution that will transfer all of the company's customers to the digital converters that transmit the broadcasts of the various channels via the Internet instead of via satellite.

At this stage, about 200,000 customers have already switched to the new service.

Yes + 2.0 As the company calls the comprehensive move, it will first and foremost include a new converter, which will be equipped with a more powerful processor, support for Wi-Fi 6 and in addition, it will be optimized in terms of performance for the fiber optic era.

A new remote has also started to come out to customers and the remote is adapted for a lighter browsing experience and with dedicated buttons for new submenus that the company has introduced.

The submenus are an integral part of the interface change and MyTV presentation, which makes the user experience smarter, more intuitive and faster.

The new interface includes the option of up to 6 personal viewing profiles that will allow the user to see on the landing page his personal content, with his preferences and even the content he started to see - where he can continue watching from the point where it stopped.

Kids will also get customized preschool viewing profiles, and Biss also thought of a separate category for teens (Tweens) with customized content and access to outdoor apps quickly and easily.

The navigation menu also gets a nice upgrade with an options button which with a long press brings up quick options for common actions like mute the volume, switch to the last channel, record and open a numeric keypad which allows you to switch to a particular decapitation by entering its number.

In addition, the company is improving its mobile app for road viewing and it is now called Yes + Mobile when it also allows viewing personal profiles for viewing on a smartphone or tablet and you can now download a large part of the content it offers and play it on mobile, but not when you are abroad.

The new service will start rolling out to customers in the coming weeks and is not expected to involve any payment from existing customers, other than the sign that will cost several tens of shekels and the deposit on the converter that customers will have to pay if they want to replace the converter.
