Opinion | Before we fall into another concept: Bringing the PA into Gaza is dangerous | Israel Hayom

2023-10-29T07:08:07.750Z

Highlights: Anyone who thinks of giving Gaza to Abbas the day after the war should know that the style and cruelty are exactly the same as Hamas. After the massacre and pogrom in the envelope, almost everything takes on different, more "ordinary" and "tolerable" proportions. Hundreds of attacks and massacres directed at the civilian population have been thwarted almost daily over the past two years by the Shin Bet and the IDF. Israel did not elaborate on the details so as not to cause panic, but now it may be worth reconsidering.

Before we get confused again, before we build another wrong conception for ourselves, before we bring the PA to Gaza instead of Hamas, or before we are tempted to believe President Biden and ourselves that the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria are "something else," we should memorize the material again – we should know how to distinguish between enemy and hater, and ally and partner.

This is necessary and critical, because after the massacre and pogrom in the envelope, almost everything takes on different, more "ordinary" and "tolerable" proportions. So that's it, no. If only they could, Palestinians from the West Bank – whether Hamas, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades or Tanzim and Fatah – would carry out exactly the same massacres in the "Judea and Samaria envelope": Petah Tikva, Kfar Saba, Lod, Ramle and Afula.

It didn't happen not because they didn't want to or didn't try. This did not happen because hundreds of attacks and massacres directed at the civilian population have been thwarted almost daily over the past two years by the Shin Bet and the IDF. Israel did not elaborate on the details so as not to cause panic, but now it may be worth reconsidering.

In any case, in order to understand what the "two-state solution" is all about, there is no need to open the files of the pogroms that were thwarted. Suffice it to take a quick look at the attacks that did succeed. The scope is not similar to what happened in the envelope, but the character, style and cruelty are exactly the same.

Hillel Yaffa Ariel, 13.5, was slaughtered sleeping in her bed, in her home on the outskirts of Kiryat Arba, with a knife. 19-year-old Uri Ansbacher was raped and murdered with indescribable cruelty in the small paradise known as Ein Yael inside Jerusalem, and then her corpse was abused. Her murderer boasted in his sentence that "raping and murdering a Jewish woman is the most important thing I have ever done in my life."

The Fogel family from Itamar was murdered in their home shortly before Purim 10. Yoav, 4, and Elad, <>, by strangling and stabbing, Ehud and Ruth, the parents, who tried to save their children, by numerous stabbings to their necks, necks and abdomen. The three-month-old baby Hadas, who was discovered because she was crying, was also murdered by the Nazi terrorists (today it is already allowed to call them that).

PA applauds the perpetrators of the massacre in Gaza

One Friday night, three members of the Salomon family were slaughtered in a similar way, in their home in Halamish. Esther Horgan was murdered by a rock that crushed her skull. The baby Shalhevet Pass, less than a year old, was executed inside her stroller by a sniper who targeted her. Kim Yehezkel was handcuffed with cable ties at a factory in Barkan and shot to death.

PA reactions to the massacre in Gaza corresponded with that new Nazism. Abd al-Rahman Abu al-Rab, a Fatah member in Jenin, defined the morning of the massacre as a morning of joy, victory and pride, and congratulated the "heroic martyrs in Gaza." Abbas Zaki, a member of Fatah's Central Committee, who once admitted that "the goal is the end of Israel," thanked Hamas for the attack and threatened to smash the skulls of all Jews and Americans in the region (Source: Palestinian Media Watch). Jamal al-Hawail, a member of the Fatah council in the PA, promised a great surprise in Judea and Samaria as well and hoped that the scenes in Gaza would return in the West Bank as well (source: "The Jewish Voice").

An official document issued by the PA Ministry of Religious Affairs again used a hadith that incites to murder Jews, "hiding behind stones and trees," and some mosques adopted the recommendation. An imam from Nablus, for example, praised Hitler. Swastikas were painted in Huwara and graffiti in solidarity with Mohammed Deif, and not only there. And Abu Mazen? As usual, he skipped the two counts: garden, eraser, corrected and stuttered.

So please, at least for now, at least we won't stutter. Let us not be confused again.
