This week, however, I had the chance to watch a random war panel on one of the channels. The scene is dumb: almost the same ensemble of commentators I've seen in three (!) previous performers, uttering the same embarrassing nonsense in the same serious, all-consuming tone.
Military correspondents miss (some knowingly) a discussion of the biggest security failure since Yom Kippur, preferring to focus on the discussion of blaming the government, as opposed to political commentators who only a month ago were shocked by the light fingers of our soldiers on the trigger, and who are now hitting the table, and surprisingly blaming it...
At the same time, I started receiving "neutral" messages from "concerned citizens" (Zehava Galon), well-designed and well-funded, whose only message is that "the whole country" wants Bibi to go now.
In short, while most of the people – left and right, the first and second, those who enter Assi and those who remain outside – are working on the front in one form or another, the zealots of the Rabbinate are already working to achieve the only victory that matters: to overthrow the government at any price.
On the one hand, of course, there is nothing to be surprised by the extreme cynicism of the Ehud Barakim, the Breslers and the Moses Redmans. They will stay.

It has been revealed that the defense minister surrounds himself with a special cabinet of advisers, composed of the same people and the same concept, and this is the most stressful statistic regarding the future: If the security avenue, the government and Netanyahu rightly fly out after the war, there will be a chance here for the first time to build a new strategy, with a command backbone that pursues murderers in Huwara and does not protect them, and a government with a new majority that internalizes what is outside the studios already understand: There is no difference between the Nazis in Gaza and those in Judea and Samaria. But if only Netanyahu flies, we will remain in exactly the same place, waiting for the next massacre.
