In the Upper Bavarian town of Marquartstein, a car with four people slipped into a pond. That is what the police said. An 89-year-old died in the process.
According to the information, people between the ages of 80 and 89 were sitting in the car, which probably got off the road because of slippery roads. The vehicle front was then completely immersed in the water.
According to the police, three of the inmates were able to free themselves from the car, or with the help of a first aider and the emergency services. They were taken to surrounding hospitals with minor injuries.
