The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Friday that in the last 24 hours there were 105 deaths from coronavirus and 5,493 new infected were identified.

Regarding the new confirmed cases, it was noted that  3,790 are in Buenos Aires, 1,157 in the Federal Capital , 63 in Chaco, 6 in Chubut, 56 in Córdoba, 11 in Entre Ríos, 2 in Formosa, 155 in Jujuy, 10 in La Rioja, 56 in Mendoza, 1 in Misiones, 18 in Neuquén, 40 in Río Negro, 13 in Salta, 1 in San Juan, 1 in San Luis, 38 in Santa Cruz, 32 in Santa Fe, 2 in Santiago del Estero, 37 in Tierra del Fuego and 4 in Tucumán.  

When presenting the morning report, the health ministry indicated that, despite the rise in cases in the last seven days, there is a "stabilization" of positives in Chaco, Neuquén and Río Negro, all of them provinces with "community transmission" of the illness.

The Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti, pointed out that the average number of infected in the last seven days is 4,749 and that although the more than 148,000 accumulated cases make up an "important" figure, they have been distributed over time to not saturate the medical system.

In the analysis of the data carried out by the official, it was highlighted that 91% of new cases were reported from the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires (AMBA), a region that has 64% occupancy of intensive care places, 8.6 % more than the national average.

There are 913 patients who study the disease in critical care units, 87.5% of them in the AMBA and a "tension" remains in the private subsystem of the City of Buenos Aires.
