Overcoming bullying and discrimination through music, fashion, images.

This is the common thread of the events that the 'Partecipare Conta' association has organized to raise awareness among young people on the issue of bullying.

The aim of the project is to deal with issues related to youth distress directly with secondary school students.

An opportunity to talk about how bullying and violence can be overcome.

All this, however, focusing on the stories of testimonials such as singers, stylists and sportsmen.

Among the protagonists the singer Alex Palmieri and the Aosta Valley stylist Fabio Porliod.

Besides the Paralympic athlete Alessandro Ossola.

The artists address the boys using a simple and direct language, bringing 'common' models to the catwalk, with the defects of girls.

But also models who have suffered an amputation.

Different experiences, but with a common thread, having been victims of bullying and having overcome the difficulties by finding strength to defeat discrimination.

'' Our goal with these events - explains Sylvie Chanoine, president of the association 'Partecipare Conta' - is to bring the world of schools closer to these issues.

Working with the disabled, we realized how much the phenomenon of bullying is present.

Children with disabilities are often subjected to acts of bullying, especially psychological bullying, and are not always able to report it.

The phenomenon is still very hidden ”.

Among the association's next projects, a pet therapy course for the disabled, who will then in turn teach what they have learned in classes for children without disabilities.

'' Discrimination - concludes Sylvie Chanoine - bullying can be defeated with integration, and this is one way to do it ".
