After Easter 5.3 million students will return to school

Immediately after the Easter holidays, 5.3 million students will attend the lessons in presence at school.

They are 62.3% (six out of ten) of the 8.5 million pupils.

Among them 3.1 million attend kindergartens, primary schools and the first year of lower secondary school even if they are in regions classified in the red zone.

From Tuesday 30 March, 687 thousand students from Lazio schools will leave dad but over half a million Tuscan pupils and 285 thousand Calabrians will go to DAD until 6 April.

Before the Easter holidays begin, there will be 2 million in attendance and almost 6.5 million in DAD.

The calculations are done by Tuttoscuola.

Specifically, according to the calculations of Tuttoscuola, there should therefore be 5,296,519, six out of ten, the pupils of state and equal schools who will be able to attend lessons in the presence of a total of 8 million and 506 thousand.

The data also include about one million and 400 thousand children of kindergarten for weeks excluded from educational activities in presence at school.


The regions most affected by this reopening in presence are Lombardy with 785.910 in attendance (and 615.903 in DAD), Lazio with 687.592 (and 133.737 in DAD), Campania with 484.731 (and 460.262 in DAD), Tuscany with 265.966 ( and 238,650 in DAD), Veneto with 373,003 in attendance (and 307,093 in DAD).

With almost all pupils in attendance (82-83%) the Islands: Sicily with 614,891 and Sardinia with 170,004 pupils in attendance.

Overall, there will be 5.3 million (62.3%) pupils in attendance at school and 3.2 million (37.6%) in DAD, with the usual alternation of 50% for high school students in the regions where allowed.


With reference to the different school sectors, the teaching activities at school will follow 1,393,010 children in kindergartens (100%), 2,605,865 primary pupils (100%), 906,011 pupils of lower secondary school (the 52.9%) and partially alternating at 50% 407,304 high school students (14.6%).
