The San Pellegrino brand's 50 BEST restaurant rating is one of the most prestigious and prestigious in the culinary world today.

The main list of the 50 best restaurants in the world (in first place is the Noma restaurant from Copenhagen), also has sub-lists by regions, the 50 best restaurants in Asia, and the 50 best restaurants in Latin America.

Now, for the first time since the coveted list was launched 20 years ago, a list is also being published that reviews the 50 best restaurants in Africa and the Middle East.



In a festive ceremony held tonight (Monday) in Dubai, the list of the best new restaurants, of Africa and the Middle East, was announced and the honorable list includes a representation of no less than 6 Israeli restaurants.

Malgo and

his Malbar on Rothschild Boulevard, which has maintained a high level and stability for quite a few years, receives good reviews and the love of the audience

on the list. At the presentation of the restaurant, it was said at the ceremony that Titman, the young chef, has been leading the restaurant for almost a decade, and that it is one of the most popular and updated restaurants in Tel Aviv.

, by Chef Yachi Zino, the oldest of the Israeli restaurants on the list, and the only one not in Tel Aviv, the kosher fish restaurant from Ashdod and the favorite of visitors and foodies, enters 24th place on the list, thus becoming the only kosher restaurant on the list

OCD won the title of best restaurant in Israel, and Rahav is the only chef from Israel who even took the stage to receive the award.



Chefs Rahav, Titman, Tawakli and Zeno, and Avi Zack (owners of George and John and the Drisco Hotel) arrived in Dubai and attended the exciting ceremony, along with other outstanding restaurants from the region - UAE, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon, Kuwait, Amman and more.



It should be noted that it is precisely the more well-known chefs, with restaurants with a bigger name, who even get to star in the heart of prime time are absent from the list.

The ranking reviews 50 outstanding food destinations from 19 countries from the Middle East and Africa: from Morocco in its far west to Iran and Oman further east.

The rating reflects the best restaurant experiences gathered from 250 voters, made up of anonymous culinary experts from across MENA (Middle East & North Africa).



The ranking aims to create a list of the biggest culinary destinations across the Middle East and North Africa, which includes secret places alongside big names in regional cuisine, classics alongside intriguing innovative destinations.

The list of the best restaurants in the world, published every year, provides a snapshot of some of the best destinations for unique culinary experiences, and global gastronomic trends.
