(ANSA) - TURIN, 04 MAR - No to the double surname for the son of two mothers.
The Turin Court of Appeal also follows the line of the Court by rejecting the appeal presented by the Municipality which claimed the validity of the process undertaken for the recognition and transcription of the children of homogenitorial couples.
"We have received the decree of the Court of Appeal which rejects the complaint, confirming the decision of the Court and the disputed provision - say the mayor, Stefano Lo Russo, and the commissioner Jacopo Rosatelli -. We will now carry out the necessary legal insights".
On the political level - add Lo Russo and Rosatelli - we reiterate that our council is convinced that it is necessary to recognize the parenting of same-sex couples in the supreme interest of minors to grow up in a family with full rights and duties.
We therefore call back to Parliament - they urge - to finally do its part to reform all those regulations on family matters which preserve a discriminatory content.
The company is ready, the policy is equally ready ". (ANSA).
