According to his own opinion, the pop singer Roland Kaiser had taken off earlier.
"I just wanted to listen to those who applauded me," the 69-year-old told the magazine "Bunte Quarterly" according to Thursday's advance notice.
Today he is not proud of having reacted too much and too often very aloof.
When you're younger, you're more aloof.
"Then you believe that you are the center of the world and that all success is only down to you," said Kaiser.
He thought he had "eaten wisdom with spoons."
If there were critical voices, he turned a deaf ear.
It was "very difficult" for his employees and musicians to work with him, Kaiser adds.
Today, in his second career, everything is different - »everything is at eye level«.
