(ANSA) - MILAN, 07 JUN - Through the installation Germogl by Marcantonio, in the courtyard of Palazzo Durini Caproni diTaliedo, Natuzzi Italia at design week turns the spotlight on the xylella epidemic that has been affecting the olive groves of Puglia for some years.
"The sprout is something perfect, it represents the birth of something new and is a symbol of positivity", says Marcantonio.
"I imagined giant shoots, out of scale, to remind us of the power of nature with respect to which we are like little ants".
Natuzzi Italia also concretely supports Save theOlives, the first NGO to have activated awareness and fundraising projects in support of scientific research against laxylella, through the photographic exhibition TRE (E) PIDATION by Giampaolo Sgura in the new showroom in via Durin, rethought by Fabio November: from today it is possible to buy 3 photos by Giampaolo Sgura through the e-commerce platform of Save the Olives (savetheolives.com) and the proceeds will be donated to the association.
This commitment is part of the 'The Circle of Harmony - Second Life' concept, around which the brand's new collection is developed, reflecting on the theme of sustainability.
