(ANSA) - TURIN, 19 SEPTEMBER - Twenty-one thousand bottles of Barberad'Asti docg booked throughout Italy on the National SLA Day.
A success underlined by the president of the Consortium for the protection of wine, Filippo Mobrici, "A great pride. We make wine it is true, but remembering those who are less well and making a contribution I think it is a pleasure as well as a duty.
An opportunity that gives to the world of wine a different and wider visibility by going to all the Italian squares with our wines.

About ten wineries in Asti have passed a careful selection to arrive at the stalls set up in the squares all over Italy as part of the Sla Day.
"They sold it to us at a price agreed for the occasion, wishing to contribute to the important event", recalls Mobrici.
The gala evening at Palazzo Alfieri in Asti, which closed the initiatives of the Sla Day, saw, in the kitchen, the participation of the starred chef Walter Ferretto of the restaurant Cascinale Nuovo, with his brother Roberto.
Among those present was the governor of Piedmont Alberto Cirio: "We believe - he said - that when initiatives related to our excellence are undertaken we must add an element of solidarity that leaves no one behind. This was once again taught to us by the pandemic and it is the reason why the economic fortune of the territory to health and solidarity support characterizes the Asti area and our Piedmont ".
