The prosecutor of Arezzo has opened a file for the crimes of aggravated brawl, interruption of public service and attack on transport safety for the nine fans, three supporters of Roma and six of Napoli, involved in the riots on Sunday 8 January along the Arezzo stretch dell'Autosole, at the level of the Badia al Pino service area.
According to what emerges, the suspects are nine fans involved in the accidents, clearly recognized and already subjected to Daspo by the police headquarters of the cities to which they belong, Rome and Naples.
According to what has been learned, the number of suspects could increase.
The investigators of the Rome and Naples police headquarters, with whom the Arezzo police headquarters work in synergy, coordinated by prosecutor Laura Taddei, would have arrived at these first nine names through a comparison between the footage from the video surveillance cameras of the service area, those of private videos made with mobile phones by motorists in transit and images recorded at the stadium.
Many fans were covered by hoods during the clashes and this slows down the recognition work.
The investigations continue.
