Archive request rejected. "Hope is always alive," said the family lawyer. The hypothesis is that Angela has been kidnapped and that she lives on the Buyukada islet with a person who she believes is her father. The little girl disappeared on Monte Faito in Naples on August 10, 1996 (ANSA)

"We have learned from the press of the existence of an investigation by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office: hope is still alive and the family hope that this new investigation can give us certain information about

Angela Celentano

".

Thus the lawyer Luigi Ferrandino comments with Ansa on the news - reported by the Corriere della Sera - of the decision of the investigating judge of Naples Federica Colucci to reject the request for dismissal presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office in relation to an investigative activity of the DDA on the so-called "track Turkish" on the disappearance of Angela Celentano, the girl whose traces were lost on Monte Faito, in the Neapolitan area, on August 10, 1996.

The investigation was launched in 2009 following statements made by a lady, Vincenza Trentinella, who reported having learned confidential information about the fate of the little girl from a priest who in turn learned it in the confessional.

"I immediately warned the family - Ferradino reiterates - they were not aware of this investigation. I have just contacted Catello Celentano who reaffirmed his trust in the lawyer and also in the investigators".

According to the version of the woman who opened the investigation, following a check made by going directly to Turkey,

Angela would have been kidnapped and would live on the Buyukada islet with a person she believes is her father

.

And of this man (with a scar on his face, met on the spot) she also provided a photo probably taken after meeting him in a veterinary office.

According to the judge there are still doubts to be dispelled and therefore it is necessary to extend the investigations for another six months especially on Angela's alleged Turkish father, who is allegedly called Fahfi Bey (of which there is also a telephone number given to the investigators).

The Italian magistrates, who went to the islet, would have questioned a man who in reality would not be Angela's alleged Turkish father but the veterinarian, owner of the telephone number provided by Vincenza Trentinella, who told the investigators that he did not know the woman.

According to the judge, in essence, the wrong person may have been heard and, therefore, the investigations cannot be said to be concluded.
