Two women between the ages of 30 and 35 died this morning, and four other people were injured, as a result of the collision that occurred between two trucks that were circulating in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Floresta, police sources reported.
The event occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Chivilcoy and César Díaz streets, a few meters from the Gregorio Pomar Sports Center, when a Renault Duster truck and a Ford Kuga collided for reasons that are trying to be established, and ended up on top of the sidewalk.
As a result of the accident, two women aged 30 and 35 who were in the back of the Duster died instantly, while a 52-year-old man, a 16-year-old teenager and a 30-year-old woman suffered injuries, as did the Kuga driver, 32.
Shortly after, police personnel and the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAME) attended the scene and transferred the injured to the Álvarez Hospital, where they remain hospitalized for observation.
Meanwhile, experts are working to determine the causes of the accident.
