And Just Like That... It comes as a big surprise: Kim Cattrall puts her feud with the other "Sex and the City" ladies to rest and stars in season two of the spin-off. So crowd favorite Samantha Jones returns!
On Thursday, June 22, HBO Max (or actually just Max) will launch the second season of the "Sex and the City" spin-off "And Just Like That..." (in this country parallel at Sky - we reported). TVLine is now reporting a big sensation, because Kim Cattrall, who played the femme fatale Samantha Jones in the original series from 1998 to 2004 as well as in the two feature films, is finally to return after years of disputes.
Cattrall's comeback appearance, which would not be expected until August, is only a one-off cameo in the form of a telephone conversation between her alter ego Samantha and the protagonist Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker. The two characters had already restored their connection via SMS in the opening season. Cattrall and "SJP" have therefore not cleared up their disagreements, by the way, so both would probably not have spoken to each other during the shoot.
