"Manaich" aired here at 11 earlier this week, and has already managed to become one of the most talked about local series of recent times. A sales contract with Apple does not yet exist, but reviews are pouring in from floor to door, lively discourse in the networks and a devout audience are certainly already there.

Behind the series is creator Roy Idan, who has previously signed on for projects from various and weird genres, including "Double", "Punch", "This Is Not Age", "Four on Four" and more, and this week he came to the Walla Culture podcast to talk about The TV hit.

Among other things, Idan told about his days in the police and the important lessons he learned at that time. The justice system, in his doctrine, "shit on us more than anyone else," and it would not have hurt to make drastic changes here at all.

Idan also tells why he wrote the lead role in thinking about Shalom Asaig and why in general he prefers comedians in serious roles, promises that the first episode is "Dardella" compared to the sequel, explains why there is no and will not be sex or nudity in the series and responds to harsh criticism of her name. Abuse in Arabic.

And also: as someone who has previously worked on a blue-and-white campaign, he reveals his opinion of Ganz (guess what it is) and what he would have suggested Izenkot do in his place; As someone who has become a Twitter anchor, he explains how he became a favorite of leftists despite his right-wing views; As someone who lives next door to Quentin Tarantino, he tells what he will do if he gets compliments from him (fainting will be the pleasant part); And as someone who presents in "From the Other Side" a corner advocating privatization and a free market, he justifies his cooperation with the Public Broadcasting Corporation.
