The realme smartphone brand, part of the Chinese BBK corporation under which the OPPO, One Plus and vivo brands are also sold, is expected to unveil at the end of next month a new smartphone that will support the SuperVOOC charging technology (with a power of 240 watts).
The meaning: a 4,500 mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in only about 9 minutes.
According to reports, the Chinese manufacturer will unveil the device in question, realme GT Neo 5, at the Barcelona Mobile Expo that will open on February 27.
Alongside this, the smartphone is expected to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip system, 16 GB of RAM and a 6.7-inch screen with support for a 144 Hz refresh rate.

Although the assumption is that fast charging damages the battery's lifespan, the Chinese manufacturers claim that laboratory tests they have actually done prove otherwise.
In any case, in order to reach charging speeds with such power, you will only need to equip yourself with a compatible charger (which comes in the package), so that the standard chargers that are around us most of the day (in the car or at work) will still charge the device at a significantly lower rate.
