Blogger Aqababe, who has made a name for himself on social media by revealing scoops on the world of reality television, says he was attacked by several men at his home in the Paris region on Tuesday morning. One of them was said to have been carrying a handgun, according to his account. The young man has filed two complaints, which Le Parisien has been able to consult: one against X and one against the influencer Poupette Kenza, who has been inveighing against him for several days on Snapchat.
"This morning, Mr. Aniss Zitouni, known as the blogger Aqababe, was the victim of a particularly violent attack at his home," his lawyer Tom Michel wrote in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter). "Three men, masked and hooded, carrying knives and a firearm, entered his home. They immediately brought up a recent conflict between my client and a public figure."
Threatening messages from Poupette Kenza
The public figure referred to is Kenza Benchrif, known as Poupette Kenza. Aqababe, like the rapper Booba, has multiplied in recent days calls for reports on the influencer's product placements and practices. In response, she multiplied threatening messages on Snapachat, captured and disseminated on X by users of the social network, without directly mentioning Aqababe.

"By Allah let them come, if they don't leave with holes, my name is not Kenza," she wrote in one of her Snapchat stories. In another, she refers to the song Billets Verts by rapper Maes. The artist, who has already had a dispute with Aqababe, had filmed himself in his car humming the lyrics of his song with the blogger, very frightened, sitting in his back seat.

Is the attack on Aqababe at her home related to the threats made by Poupette Kenza in recent days? This is what investigators will have to determine in the coming hours. On her social networks, Kenza Benchrif denies any involvement in this case. According to Tom Michel, the three assailants are still at large early Tuesday evening.
