Highlights: "Descendants," "The Bear" and "Nerves" are the big winners at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, held early Tuesday morning in Los Angeles. "Descendants" won the award for best drama for the third consecutive time — and last, since it was its final season. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson ("Black Like That," "Law & Order"), was held at the Microsoft Arena in Los Angeles, and was also broadcast live in Israel (an edited and translated version of the ceremony will be broadcast tonight at 21:00 p.m. on Bis TV Drama and on video). The main prizes were won by the series "Descendants", "Ted Lasso" and "Nerves".

"Descendants" won the award for best drama for the third consecutive time — and last, since it was its final season. It beat out strong contenders like "The Last of Us," as well as "The White Lotus" (which won an Emmy for Best Limited Series, as previously defined), as well as House of the Dragon, "The Crown" (in its previous season) and the final season of "Trust Saul," among others.

"Descendants" also dominated the wins in the drama series acting categories, as is evident from its unprecedented takeover of the lead actor category. Three of its stars competed against each other in the category of Best Lead Actor in a Drama: Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, and, for the first time, Kieran Culkin, who took the statuette. In the supporting actor category, where all eight nominees are from just two series — four from Descendants (Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Brown, Alan Ruck and Alexander Skarsgard) and four from The White Lotus (F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Will Sharpe and Theo James), Macfadyen took the award for the second time. His television wife, Sarah Snook, won Best Actress in a Drama, defeating Bella Ramsay, star of "The Last of Us," among others. "Descendants" also won Best Screenplay and Director awards.

The award for Best Comedy Series went to the hilariously hilthy comedy "The Bear" (for its first season - the second premiered after the eligibility range from June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023). In doing so, she denied "Ted Lasso" a perfect winning streak — three statuettes over three seasons. She also beat out the final seasons of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" and "Barry," both previously won, as well as "Abbott Elementary School," the much-talked-about "Jury Duty," "Only Killers in the Building" and "Wednesday."

She also won statuettes: Jeremy Allen White won Best Actor in a Comedy, Ayo Adebiri won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy, beating past winners Alex Burstyn ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel") and Sheryl Lee Ralph ("Abbott Elementary School"), while Avon Moss-Bacharach took the supporting actor award in a comedy. "The Bear" also won the awards for Best Director and Writing in a Comedy.

The award for miniseries, Sorry, Best Limited Series, went to Netflix's Nerves. She defeated Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Daisy Jones and the Sixes, Fleischmann in Trouble and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Its star duo, Stephen Yan and Ellie Wong, also scooped the awards in their respective categories – their first career win. And in her case, too, the writing and directing awards went to her, both to creator Lee Sung Jin.
