Last October, after the start of the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel, an account called “Babynesou” on the social network X (formerly Twitter) published a series of comments described as anti-Semitic by many Internet users.

We could notably read "So I may not have a soul but they don't bother me at all, I even find them rather annoying, especially the kids", in response to an article mentioning the hostage-taking of an Israeli family by Hamas terrorists in their own home.

An X account now locked
Publications relayed and denounced very quickly by the far-right activist, Damien Rieu, who immediately accused by name the daughter of the rebellious elected officials of Seine-Saint-Denis, unknown to the police, of being the user of this account “Babynesou”, supporting photos of the young woman.
Very quickly, Inès Corbière was suspected of making anti-Semitic remarks by many Internet users, both on X and on TikTok.
In the process, anti-discrimination associations, including the European Jewish Organization (EJO), filed a complaint against “X” for “apology of terrorism” in order to demand the formal identification of this Internet user and legal proceedings.
The “Babynesou” account has since been locked, we observed this Wednesday morning.
A preliminary investigation opened
A few weeks later, on November 14, a video relayed many times on social networks caused further trouble.
We can see a young woman shouting into the camera: “I’m anti-Semitic, I don’t give a damn.
I assume…” Before ordering the person who is filming it: “Stop filming, you…” It would be Inès Corbière.
This sequence would nevertheless have been isolated from a longer video in which the young woman debated with other comrades on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
As the tone rises, she would try to cut the conversation short.
At the end of her police custody, Inès Corbière was released without legal proceedings.
“At this stage, the investigations are continuing,” simply commented from the Paris prosecutor’s office.
