Aliens arrived at the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl after the disaster of the nuclear accident, which was defined as the worst accident in human history since the world began using nuclear energy - to extract the high levels of toxic radiation from the air, according to the Netflix documentary series Encounters.

In the fourth chapter, Dr. Jensin Andersen - a researcher of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ETI) and Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) - said that many eyewitnesses saw UFOs landing on the site at the height of the nuclear flame.
"Right at the height of the fire, many people watched the UFOs come," she said, adding that they "stayed there for three minutes." She claims there was an apparent sudden drop in toxic radiation once the UFO disappeared, and Dr. Andersen said there is truth to the conspiracies that aliens helped humans drain the radiation from the area.

She said: "At the height of the Chernobyl fire, the reading was 3000 milli-radiants, which is a unit used to measure ionizing radiation."
She added that another reading was taken a few minutes later and that it showed the radiation had "apparently dropped to 800" - which Dr Andersen said was incomprehensible. She added: "It looks like a very conscious attempt to reduce the danger caused by the fault there."

The episode also examines a UFO sighting in the Japanese city of Fukushima in 2011, when numerous people reported seeing bizarre lights on the day of the nuclear accident at the Fukushima power plant. The Anemyoin Shrine in Japan's Fukushima Prefecture is now known by a different name, said its chief monk, Tomonori Izumi: "Temple The miracle."
"I don't know if it was some god or some powerful being that came in a UFO, but I believe that some invisible force really came to save us," Izumi told VICE.
On March 11, 2011, the Fukushima nuclear plant was the site of one of the worst nuclear disasters ever after an earthquake and tsunami knocked out its power grid.
The series of disasters that happened at the same time caused great damage to the environment, but "miraculously, the temple was not damaged".

VICE reported that just like after the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters, UFOs have been repeatedly documented around places where humans have created nuclear activity. There are "very clear connections between UFO sightings and nuclear energy and this has been happening for decades." said author Dr. Jensin Andersen.
"My personal view, based on over thirty years of very extensive research, is that there is an advanced extraterrestrial presence operating primarily here on Earth and in the oceans," she said.
Andersen cited U.S. government reports that came from agencies such as the FBI and the CIA about sightings of UFOs near nuclear sites, and said she examined 39 different such reports between the 1940s and 1990s.
"It goes back to the 1930s, when Start with science and research to understand atomic fission.
But then it really heated up in the 1940s, in particular right after the two atomic bombs were dropped on Japan in 1945. And then it becomes decisive, that's for sure.
"One after another we see events occurring in close proximity to sites related to nuclear weapons," Andersen said.
