The most seriously injured is the driver, although his life is not in danger, with only grazes for the three passengers, all young like the driver: fortunately no one was touched by the metal sheets of the guardrail which pierced the car in which they were travelling, following an accident this morning shortly before 6 in via delRomito in Montespertoli, in the province of Florence.
No other vehicles involved.
For reasons still under investigation, the car ended up against the barrier which then penetrated the passenger compartment.
Based on what the rescuers explained, none of the four boys were touched by the sheet metal.
The fire brigade intervened on site and together with the paramedics extracted the young people who had remained stuck inside the passenger compartment and the carabinieri.
