He was arrested by the local police and will soon be brought to justice.

Police spokesman Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said a "29-year-old man was arrested after confessing to a commission investigating the case that he was involved in starting the tragic fire."

He also indicated that the suspect had not specified the reasons for his action.

He is charged with 76 counts of intentional homicide and 120 attempts.

He will soon be brought before the courts to answer to these charges.

The tragedy caused great emotion in the country, shaken by the sharing of videos of the disaster and the testimonies of people who witnessed it.
