Triple catwalk in Milan, Breuil-Cervinia and Courmayeur Mont Blanc for the seven finalist cars of The Car of The Year award, namely the BMW Series 5 and i5, the Byd Seal, the Kia EV9, the Peugeot 3008 and E-3008, the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric, the Toyota C-HR and the Volvo EX30.

As communicated by the monthly magazine Auto, the Italian organizer of the award, the seven finalist cars can be tested by the public in the three locations by registering on the website https://www.auto.it/eventi/coty or directly at the desk which will be located in the center of the display of the cars.

The cars will be exhibited in Milan from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th January in Piazza Tre Torri within the CityLife Shopping District.

They will move to Breuil - Cervinia from 9 to 11 February, and will be located at the beginning of via Carrel.

The last stage of this interesting 'preview' will take place from 23 to 25 February in Courmayeur in the Chalet de L'Ange square.

The Car of the Year award, the event that has rewarded the most interesting car of the year since 1964, is organized by nine European newspapers - for Italy by the monthly magazine Auto - and is assigned on the basis of the judgment of 59 journalists from 22 countries .

After an initial phase of analysis of the candidates, the jury moves on to select the seven finalists every year.

Among these, the winner of the title of The Car of The Year will be proclaimed - with the counting of votes country by country - on Monday 26 February at the Geneva International Motor Show.

The event will take place at 8:00 am and can be followed in live streaming on the website www.auto.it.

The choice of the locations of Milan, Breuil-Cervinia and Courmayeur Mont Blanc - explains Auto - was made to allow enthusiasts to test the finalist cars in different conditions, on snow and on mountain hairpin bends at the foot of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc thus as in the city routes in the Lombardy capital.

Breuil-Cervinia and Courmayeur - we read in the note - have fully entered the event program as the Aosta Valley is the greenest region in Italy and is working on the transition of mobility towards electric.

Valle d'Aosta independently produces the energy - all renewable - necessary for its needs with a surplus of 65% of energy, which is transferred to the national electricity grid.

99% of the Region's electricity is produced with hydroelectric plants and the remaining 1% with photovoltaic systems.

Furthermore, Valle d'Aosta has the highest ratio of electric car charging stations per inhabitant.
