Highlights: The used car market recorded its twelfth consecutive growth in November with 452,788 transfers of ownership, 10.4% more than the same period in 2022. Diesel confirms its first position in November among the preferred engines in the used market, with 45.6% (compared to 46.7% in 2022) Methane stands at 2.3%, while net transfers of pure electric cars (BEV) and plug-in cars cover a share of 0.7%.

The used car market recorded its twelfth consecutive growth in November with 452,788 transfers of ownership, 10.4% more than the same period in 2022 (itself down by 0.8% on 2021).

Net transfers increased by 8.8% and mini-transfers by 12.4%.

In the 11 months the used car market expanded its growth to +9.1% with 4,584,969 passages, compared to 4,203,397 in the 11 months of 2022 (-10.6% on January-November 2019).


    Diesel confirms its first position in November among the preferred engines in the used market, with 45.6% (compared to 46.7% in 2022), 47.6% cumulatively;

in second place the petrol engine at 39.6% (-2.1% to 39.1% in the 11 months).

Hybrids occupy third position with 6.3% in November and 5.3% in the cumulative, followed by LPG (at 4.7% in the month and 4.5% in the cumulative).

Methane stands at 2.3%, while net transfers of pure electric cars (BEV) and plug-in cars cover a share of 0.7% and 0.8% respectively.
