Fourniret held her by the arm, but without forcing her to move forward: she moved forward of her own accord, docilely, without wanting to flee, without any resistance.
Her attitude did not seem natural to me, she was as if asleep, without reaction (…).
I don't know if Fourniret somehow put the girl to sleep, or if he made her drink alcohol.
